This destination features the beautiful beaches of Mexican Caribbean. It is a favorite destination by travelers looking for luxury all-inclusive resorts, natural history, a variety of water activities and incredible value.
Check out the ancient civilization of the Mayans by visiting Chichen Itza, Tulum or Coba. Xcaret is an ecological park that will provide you opportunities to swim in an underground river, explore the natural beauty of caves and archaeological ruins.
Tours are available to the Great Mayan Reef, the second largest coral reef in the world. Other water sports available for your enjoyment are snorkeling, windsurfing, kitesurfing, kayaking and jet skiing. You will find a variety of water sports available from most resorts.
Other tour options include sinkholes, where you can do rappelling; cave diving, zip-lining, swimming with dolphins, jungle tours and cruises. Visit Fifth Avenue in the town of Playa del Carmen for shopping and dining. Come back in the evening for a variety of nightclubs and bars.
Although many couples may choose to have a symbolic ceremony, which can free up the requirements and allow for a shorter time in the destination prior to the ceremony, we can certainly help you arrange a civil (legal) wedding in Mexico. Our office can assist you with making sure your legal paperwork is taken care of and you have the required Apostille seals and scheduled blood tests. Additional charges will apply for Civil weddings in Mexico. You will also need to allow 3 or more months to receive your marriage certificate from Mexico, which will be in Spanish. Again, if you wish to avoid the paperwork, blood tests and some of the waiting, getting married at home first will alleviate these requirements.
